## How to assess your infrastructure with defective chargers

We’ve found many clients with defective chargers. Issues include not pulling data, working alongside the back office system, or charging properly for EV users. 

Whatever the issue, it can prevent the chargers from working optimally. And for business owners, losing out on revenue and loyalty from your customers. 

With chargers, regular maintenance and inspections can spot issues and potential problems before they become something more serious. For some issues, we don’t need to make a site visit; we can use the back office system to recognise and remotely solve them.

Most EV chargers have a three-year cycle, similar to other electrical equipment. After those three years, you may need to upgrade, replace or repair. Ineffective chargers don’t necessarily mean the entire charger has to be replaced. Often, we can upgrade a specific part or find ways to improve the charger without changing it out completely.
