Project Case Study - Family Hotel

Client overview: A family-run hotel in a popular tourist destination, offering high standards of accommodation and service in the Lake District. This hotel is based on a busy main road.

Project background and overview: To kickstart its electric vehicle (EV) charging journey, the hotel partnered with Devitech to install an innovative EV charger solution on its premises. Now, staff, guests, and business fleet users can conveniently charge their EVs, making the hotel the go-to destination for EV charging in the area.

With the hotel situated on a bustling main road, it's the perfect location for fleet users seeking a reliable charging spot. No longer will they have to worry about finding a nearby charging station, as the hotel is now equipped with state-of-the-art EV chargers.

Our solution:
Devitech installed six 7.4kw Easee electric vehicle chargers powered by Fuuse, a powerful charger back-office management system. By installing Easee chargers, the site took advantage of its load balanced structure for future expansion.

To deliver the hotel’s EV charging project, Devitech partnered with various stakeholders to project manage the entire works. From organising line markings for the charging bays to employing the services of civil engineers, Devitech was able to create a complete end-to-end solution for this family hotel.

Other EV charger installers had previously told the owners that the installation was not feasible due to electrical capacity, but Devitech found a solution to work with the existing supply.
