The step-by-step process for getting your EV charging project up and running for your business.

We visit you for a free site assessment
The number one question on everyone’s lips when considering an EV charger installation is, “How much is this going to cost?”. So many factors determine the project's total cost, so we always start the process with a no-obligation, free site assessment to give you the facts upfront. At this initial site assessment, our EV charging experts will determine several factors: the distance from your power supply to your preferred EV charger location, the available electrical supply on site to power your chargers, and whether you require civil works.

You’re provided with a proposal for a future-proofed EV charging solution
Once an EV charging expert has visited your site, we’ll produce a proposal that includes the capability of the current electrical infrastructure on site, along with a proposed EV charging solution, encompassing design, specification, funding and grants.

For every site we adopt, we take a longer-term view that helps our clients future-proof their investment. We look at likely future capacity, and design in local network resilience from the outset to avoid the need for costly upgrades in the future.

Your EV charging solution will be delivered
If you take the proposal forward, your project will be booked in with the team, and a site-specific HSE document will be provided for the work. On the day, your EV charging experts and OZEV installers will arrive at the appointed time. They’ll then run through the positioning of the EV chargers before beginning the work, temporarily turning off the power supply and fixing the chargers to a wall or to their own post within your car park.

Once the installation is completed and signed off by all parties, we train your team on how to use your new EV chargers, and hand the area back to you. We can also offer ongoing support, maintenance, and repairs for your EV charger network through the EV ChargeCare service and our Fuuse back-office management system.
